Atlas Copco sells a wide range of products in China, with corresponding service and market development operations. These products include Atlas Copco air compressors, mobile compressors, generators, construction and mining equipment, pneumatic and power tools and assembly systems. It is backed by a nationwide sales, distribution, service and repair network. Atlas Copco has 7 companies (4 of which are factories) in mainland China, manufacturing and selling compressors, generators, construction and mining equipment, industrial tools and assembly systems, as well as providing after-sales services. Atlas Copco has established sales and service offices in 40 regions in mainland China, and has also signed more than 150 distributors. Atlas Copco has grown rapidly in the Chinese market, with 1,600 employees and a significant share of the Group's sales revenue. More than half of this sales revenue comes from the manufacturing industry, followed by the process/construction industry, and mining, among others. Our companies in China export products to other sister companies in Asia, as well as to other overseas distribution centers.
